US/UK to ban certain electronic devices in cabin on some inbound flights

The US and UK authorities have banned electronic devices larger than standard mobile phones as hand luggage on flights from certain destinations.

The US ban affects direct flights from Mohammed V Airport Casablanca, Ataturk Airport Istanbul, Cairo International Airport, Queen Alia International Airport Amman, King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah, King Khalid Intl Airport Riyadh, Kuwait Intl Airport, Hamad Intl Airport Doha, Abu Dhabi Intl Airport UAE and Dubai International Airport UAEi.

The UK ban affects direct flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia
